Why Water-Based Prints & Proper Care Matter
Our Jungle Collection is designed for parents who want playful patterns without compromising on safety. Most printed baby clothes use heavy plastic-based inks that can crack and off-gas chemicals. At Eotton, our lion, giraffe, and monkey prints are created using eco-friendly water-based technology. This allows the fabric to remain breathable and ensures the design feels like part of the soft cotton, not a thick layer on top.
To maintain the heirloom quality of these pieces, especially our envelope neck baby onesies, specialized care is required. Because organic cotton is a natural fiber, it is flexible. We strongly advise avoiding the use of hangers when drying envelope-neck rompers, as the weight of the wet fabric can pull and distort the neck shape. For the best results and to preserve the 'Second Skin' fit, we recommend laying these items flat to dry or using a low-temperature machine dry.
QUALITY & SAFETY TRUSTED
Common Questions & Care
How do I wash my Jungle Collection rompers to keep them soft?
As with all our collections, we strongly recommend washing in warm water with no detergent to prevent chemical buildup in the fibers. If you must use detergent, ensure an extra-clear rinse cycle is used.
How should I dry the envelope-neck style onesies?
Do not use a hanger to dry envelope-neck styles. Using a hanger while the garment is wet will cause the neck to stretch and lose its shape. It is much better to lay them flat to dry (layer dry) or use a low-temperature setting in the dryer to keep the neck fit snug and perfect.
Are the jungle animal prints safe for my baby to chew on?
Yes. We use eco-friendly water-based inks that are non-toxic and lead-free. Unlike standard screen prints, these inks sink into the organic fibers, making them breathable and safe for babies who are in the "mouth-everything" stage.
Is this collection suitable for sensitive skin?
Absolutely. By combining GOTS-certified organic cotton with water-based printing, we’ve eliminated the harsh chemicals that typically cause skin irritation in patterned baby clothing.
